Want to be an RC Pom or Cheerleader someday?

 

Start training like a jag by joining the award winning Rock Canyon poms and cheer teams at our Future & Jr. Jags clinic coming up on October 5th and 6th! Participants will learn pom technique, cheers and a halftime routine to perform with RC poms during the PINK OUT RC Football game against Mountain Vista! See below for FAQs about the camp!

  • What is the Future and Jr Jags Camp?
    This camp is for young spirit leaders ready to show their Jaguar Spirit! The award winning Rock Canyon High School Poms program will help to coach and build relationships with our Future and Jr Jags. All skill levels are welcome but the Jr Jags camp caters to K-4th graders and the Future Jags camp caters to 5th-8th graders. Participants will learn dance skills, sideline cheers & a halftime routine. On Day 2, Jr and Future Jags will perform alongside the RCDT during halftime of the youth basketball game.
  • How do I register for the Future and Jr Jags camp?
    Registration is now open! Use the button above to get your dancer registered. Sign up early to be guaranteed a t-shirt size!
  • Where and when does the camp take place?
    JR & Future Jags Camp Day 1 - Wednesday, June 5th Time: 4:00 - 6:00pm Drop Off & Pick Up Location: RCHS Commons Camp Day 2 - Thursday, June 6th Time: 2:30 - 4:30pm (dismissed after halftime) Drop Off & Pick Up Location: RCHS Commons Additional details will be emailed prior the camp!
  • How much does the camp cost and what's included?
    The $55.00 camp fee includes admission to the 2-day spirit camp, a snack on day 1, RC youth basketball game performance & Future/Jr Jags T-Shirt. Additional spirit gear will be available for purchase.
