25-26 Season

Are you interested in joining the Rock Canyon Dance Team for the '25-'26 season? We'd love to see you at tryouts! Applications aren't open yet, but check back here in the next few weeks for more details.

Pre-Tryouts

PRE-TRYOUT MEETING

7pm on Tuesday, 3/25 @ RCHS Wrestling Room - MANDATORY
During this mandatory pre-tryout meeting, we will go over program and tryout information. Attendance is not a commitment to try out.
If you are unable to attend but are interested in trying out, please send us an email at rcdance@dcsdk12.org.

PRE-TRYOUT WORKSHOPS

Pre-tryout workshops are available to help dancers prepare for tryouts, learn choreography and refine dance skills all while providing a great opportunity for the coaches to meet you.
Workshops are open to 6th-11th graders and are designed to challenge all skill levels. Beginner/novice dancers are welcome; workshops are the place to LEARN!
We highly encourage participants to attend as many workshops as possible.
Workshop dates:
- Wed, April 2 : 7-9pm
- Thurs, April 3: 5-7pm
- Tues, April 8: 5-7pm
- Fri, April 11: 4-6pm
- Tues, April 15: 5-7pm
- Wed, April 16: 7-9pm
COST: $20 per workshop or $100 for all six
- Must pay in advance
- No Refunds

STAY CONNECTED

Join our BAND group! This is a private group intended for students (parents are welcome to join as well) who are interested in auditioning for the 25-26 RCDT program.
- This is where we will communicate all tryout news, updates, choreography, music, etc.
- You can also ask questions and receive answers from coaches.
- If you decide to not try out, you can leave the group at any time.

What is the Future and Jr Jags Camp?

This camp is for young spirit leaders ready to show their Jaguar Spirit! The award winning Rock Canyon High School Dance team will help to coach and build relationships with our Future and Jr. Jags. All skill levels are welcome but the Jr Jags camp caters to K-4th graders and the Future Jags camp caters to 5th-8th graders. Participants will learn dance skills, pom technique & a halftime routine. On the final day, Jr. and Future Jags will perform alongside the RCDT during halftime of a Varsity basketball game at Rock Canyon High School!
How do I register for the Future and Jr Jags camp?

Registration is now open! Sign up by clicking the registration button(s) above. Sign up ASAP in order to be guaranteed a T-Shirt size.
Where and when does the camp take place?

JR JAGS January 9th: TIME: 5:30pm - 7:30pm LOCATION: RCHS Commons ATTIRE: Comfortable clothing & Sneakers January 10th: TIME: 5:00pm - Halftime LOCATION: RCHS Commons Game starts at 5:30pm in the main gym Jr. Jags are dismissed after halftime or welcome to stay for the duration of the game with parents. ATTIRE: Jr./Future Jags tee, Black leggings & Sneakers FUTURE JAGS January 8th: TIME: 4:00pm - 7:00pm LOCATION: RCHS Wrestling Room ATTIRE: Comfortable clothing & Sneakers January 9th: TIME: 5:30pm - 7:30pm LOCATION: RCHS Wrestling Room ATTIRE: Comfortable clothing & Sneakers January 10th: TIME: 6:00pm - Halftime LOCATION: RCHS Wrestling Room Game starts at 7pm in the main gym Future Jags are dismissed after halftime or welcome to stay for the duration of the game with parents. How much does the camp cost and what's included?

Jr Jags $75 Camp Fee Includes: Admission to the 2-day camp and Varsity girls basketball game Snack and drink on day 1 Jr Jags T-shirt (no T-shirt option available) Bow Pair of poms 1 Parent ticket to Varsity Girls basketball game Future $90 Jags Camp Fee Includes: Admission to the 3-day camp and Varsity boys basketball game Snack and drinks on days 1 and 2 Future Jags T-shirt (no T-shirt option available) Bow Pair of poms 1 Parent ticket to Varsity Girls basketball game Additional spirit gear will be available for purchase.
